My name is Lynn Guevrekian and I was just kicked out of the Salvation Army Homeless Shelter and told that my "90 days were up".  I have a witness that Hewitt Gage, one of the staff employees there is telling people that I was not kicked out, that I had to leave because I was not doing what I was supposed to be doing.  Hewitt Gage is a liar and I sat in Major Barb Logan's office while he was lying and she didn't do anything about it.  Instead, she supported his lying by not providing me with a letter as to why I had to leave.  I was kicked out the next day after emailing Major Logan about the Sex offender Aaron P. Long.  (See 3 emails below)

Dear Majors,

We are writing because we are concerned and wish to complain about a recent resident, Charlene Flowers.  Ms. Flowers has been a concern of ours because of her actions and we would like to bring this to your attention because they present a health concern.

1.     Leaving feces all over the toilet and the area surrounding the toilet in the bathroom.

2.     Walking around with feces on the back of her clothes and sitting in the lounge area chairs.

3.     Leaving towels in the bathroom with feces on them.

4.     Urinating on her self and the women’s dorm room floor.

5.     Using someone else’s bathroom sponge without permission.

6.     Being rude and belligerent to residents and staff by cussing or hissing at them.

7.     Bleeding on her face and body with open sores and wiping the blood on the dorm floor area.

These actions do not seem appropriate and some of the residents are not only uncomfortable but scared to sleep at night because we don’t know what she will do next. 

It seems apparent that she is presenting the element of harm to other residents because of the lack of proper hygiene.  We are hoping that Ms. Flowers may be directed to safety through proper channels, including a professional health person who may teach Ms. Flowers how to clean herself properly.  Because Ms. Flowers appears to be challenged, she may qualify for social security but may not be capable of applying for these services on her own and may need assistance and follow-through by a professional.  God loves Charlene Flowers and so do we but we would like to speak up about our experience around Charlene for the good of all and harm to none.

I understand that I am in a dangerous environment because homeless shelters in general shelter criminals, mental patients and addicts.  On Monday, July 9, 2007, the Springfield Journal Register reported that Aaron P. Long was charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct for his behavior that took place on July 8, 2007.  Late Monday night on July 9, 2007, Aaron P. Long was not in jail and raped a woman.  Aaron P. Long is officially registered as a sex offender on the Illinois sex offender web sight.  The woman that was raped is now a resident at the Salvation Army.  The week before this rape occurred, Aaron P. Long, who went by the name “Cris” was on the Salvation Army property one evening about 6:30 p.m. and threatened to kill Lynn Guevrekian after Lynn told Aaron to keep his hands off of her.  When Lynn Guevrekian told Archie Ford about it the very next morning, Archie Ford did not make an incident report with Lynn or attempt in any way to help at that time.  Two of the men who heard Aaron P. Long make the death threat toward Lynn were Louis Treat and Greg Knolls.  When Lynn Guevrekian saw Aaron again that week, she told him that she would go inside the shelter and talk to a staff member to get him banned.  Aaron Long apologized to Lynn and said he was sorry and Lynn shook his hand to make peace.  Lynn Guevrekian wishes that she had followed through with some type of report so that this dangerous criminal didn’t hurt another person.  The best that can be done now is to make sure that staff is aware of who he is and what he has done to make sure he stays off of the Salvation Army property.  Enclosed is a photo of Aaron P. Long that was taken from the Illinois web sight.

Dear Major Barb,

Late last night, my case worker Hewitt Gage told me that Archie Ford had called him and told him my 90 day stay was up at the Salvation Army and that I had to leave today.  I would like to get a formal letter from you stating that I must leave for my records.  I will check in with you later on today in person for this letter.

As you know, because I told you in person on Friday, June 22, 2007, I was injured at a public library and I am disabled, cannot work and have not received sound medical attention in Bloomington or Springfield .  As you know, because I told you in person, I intend to sue the State of Illinois for corruptly dismissing my court cases that I endured with integrity for two years, leaving me high and dry without justice, compensation or safety.  I also told you that I was put off that Archie Ford would be calling me up to his office on that day to see someone from MHCCI when I had already talked to them and I mentioned to you that MHCCI is, indeed, an affiliate of Memorial Health Systems and since Memorial Hospital was negligent in their delivery of medical care towards me I was refraining from any more of their services. 

I mentioned to Hewitt last night that a 24 hour notice to leave was sudden and that if I end up on the street I will go immediately to the newspapers.  I am not a person to throw out into the streets.  I have come to your shelter because I was abused by Mclean County Illinois and the Illinois Court System and damaged at a public library and have never been a criminal, addict, or mental patient and have done nothing wrong.  Hewitt also mentioned that there was some kind of “Appeal” process that could be done on a Tuesday.  I am not interested in “appealing” anything because I have offered and supplied detailed information about my situation to Archie Ford, Hewitt and yourself and have offered what medical records I have that show physical disability already.

Because I feel that it is rude and inappropriate to end my stay at the shelter when orientation states that six months is available, you have created a feeling of distrust.  That feeling of distrust coupled with Archie Ford’s unconcerned attitude about the threat on my life the day Aaron P. Long threatened to kill me is a blatant and unhealthy disregard towards my life or me as a person.   

I will be trying to find another place to stay and will try Helping Hands because they have never let me down in the past.  Enclosed at the bottom of the letter is the correspondence I supplied to Archie Ford in person last week.  I have also contacted Governor Blagojevich, Senator Obama and Senator Durbin for help.  Please supply me with the formal letter I have requested from you. Right now I am scrambling around trying to secure a bed to sleep in.  You have a good day.   I will go ahead and print this correspondence out and deliver it to the front desk in person just in case you are not immediately available or do not check your email regularly.   From Lynn T. This is an online Video of Wayne Pelhank of Heartland Apartment Management located in Bloomington Illinois which is Mclean County Illinois  After I was injured and damaged at the Normal Public Library in Normal Illinois (also Mclean County Illinois) I did not work and fell behind on my rent.  The video shows Wayne Pelhank delivering a 5-day notice and shows the Bloomington Police who were called as 911 assisting him.  My web page is http://ladybugsflyhi.50megs.com  Just prior to being injured at the Normal Public Library the Bloomington Illinois Police erred and smashed open my apartment door one afternoon while I was in the shower; instead of saying they were sorry, they chose to create a fake report about the incident and Bloomington police officer Sergeant Wikoff and a 25 year old, newly licensed social worker named Nicole Wilder smeared me in fake records to cover their own errors.  I filed three lawsuits covering all three incidents and received justice for none of them.  I still have all the evidence.
